Gary Davis is an aspiring mechanical engineer with diverse experience in leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as an LED Design Intern at Florida Power & Light Company, Gary collaborates on initiatives to enhance workplace morale and productivity while developing roadway lighting plans for various clientele. As the Conference Planning Chair for the University of Florida chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers, Gary organizes logistics and professional development workshops for multiple conferences. Previous roles include student manager and associate at the J. Wayne Reitz Union Game Room, president of the Zeta Phi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, and internships at NextEra Energy and GE Aviation, where Gary gained valuable skills in utility management and inventory organization. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and a high school diploma from North Miami Senior High School.
