Ethan Feinberg

Lead Full-Stack Developer at Flow.Club

Ethan Feinberg has worked in the software engineering field since 2015. From 2015 to 2019, they were a Dota 2 Modding at Dota. During this time, they scripted gameplay modes and behaviors, developed particle systems and dynamic algorithmically generated graphical effects, and designed and implemented supplementary tooling for automatic generation of Dota 2 data files. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Software Engineer at Flatiron School, where they instructed 40+ students in programming fundamentals and web development technologies, and guided students in individually designing, developing and debugging full stack web apps. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Software Engineer at Slalom Build, where they worked in a cross-functional team to build and update UIs and backend systems for a scalable billing and invoicing system, and mentored and pair-programmed with newer members of the team. From 2021 to 2022, they were a Lead Developer at Formative Education, where they led a team of two other developers in creating an online tool which enables programming educators to easily write, present and provide real-time guidance to students in completing coding exercises. Currently, they are a Lead Full-Stack Developer at Flow Club, where they are leading the construction of the company’s frontend, using a React/serverless Node/Firestore stack hosted on Firebase, and has established devops infrastructure, building automated deployment and tests via Github, as well as setting up Sentry, Highlight, and Slack integrations.

Ethan Feinberg is currently enrolled at Flatiron School since 2018.
