Georg Koester

Georg Koester has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Georg is currently an Engineering Manager at FLYR Labs, a position they started in January 2022. Prior to this, from 2015 to 2021, Georg worked at Sensys Gatso Group AB, where they held various roles, including Software Engineering Manager and Teamlead Dev and Ops. In these positions, they managed multiple integrated engineering teams, coordinated technical requirements for new customers, and served as a product owner for back-office systems.

Before their time at Sensys Gatso Group AB, Georg worked at Informatica from 2011 to 2015. Here, they held roles as a Software Development, Build, and QA Engineer, where they contributed to stabilizing continuous integration and nightly test environments, and as a Technical Support Engineer, where they provided support and served as Support Account Manager for key customers.

Georg's earlier experience includes working at IVU Traffic Technologies AG as a Software Support/Project Engineer from 2008 to 2011, at Deutsche Post IT Services GmbH as an Intern in 2009, and at Knaust Computer Service GmbH as an Intern in 2007.

Georg Koester attended the University of Potsdam from 2006 to 2010, where they studied IT System Engineering. Prior to their university education, they also attended Gymnasium Pampow. In addition, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from the Scrum Alliance in September 2018.
