Adam Green

CEO at FM Conway

Adam Green joined FM Conway as Managing Director in September 2019 and became CEO in 2020. He is responsible for overseeing multiple divisions within the business, including Consultancy, Civil Engineering, Structures, Lighting, Water & Drainage Management, Traffic Management, as well as the Drainage Treatment Plants.

After gaining a Civil Engineering degree from Portsmouth University, Adam turned his attention to a career working in infrastructure, and now boasts over 30 years’ experience working within the industry.

His experience has helped him to lead a multi-billion-pound business in delivering a diverse set of infrastructure projects and services on projects such as the East London Line, various smart motorway upgrades, Battersea Power Station, Birmingham Library and Heathrow Terminal 5C. Adam is also a member of a number of government groups, a Fellow Member of the institution of Civil Engineer and a recently retired Major in the Army’s Staff Corps.

His career has taken him all over the UK, particularly operating in the South East in Kent and East Sussex delivering road maintenance, however, he has even been responsible for businesses in the Middle East.

Eventually joining FM Conway in late 2019, Adam was drawn to the family-run business due to the great values and people within the company, as well as being able to self-deliver on such a large scale in the UK.

Now he plans to use his experience working with many infrastructure government client organisations and channel it into benefiting the business for the future.
