Melissa Smith

Melissa Smith is an experienced professional in organisational development, currently serving as the Head of Organisational Development at FMG (Farmers Mutual Group) since May 2015. Prior roles at FMG include Organisational Development Consultant and Manager in the same field. Prior to joining FMG, Melissa worked at OPRA Consulting Group Limited from July 2011 to May 2015 as a Senior Consultant and Registered Psychologist, where the focus was on providing client management and support for public and private sector clients in Wellington. Melissa's career began with an internship in organisational development at the Department of Corrections in New Zealand from June 2008 to February 2011. Melissa holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial and Organisational Psychology (First Class) and a Master of Arts (Hons) in Psychology from Massey University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Canterbury.
