Alex P. Anghel

Alexandru Paul Anghel is a finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and investment banking. Currently serving as a Private Equity Associate at FMO - Dutch entrepreneurial development bank since September 2022, Alexandru has previously held roles including Private Equity Investment Analyst focused on energy. Prior experience includes working as an Investment Banking Analyst at VarsoGroup, specializing in M&A advisory and capital raising in the TMT and SaaS sectors, and as the owner of Danubius Consulting, where corporate finance and equity research were the primary focus. Alexandru also gained valuable experience as a Senior Student Consultant at SOLVE Consulting NL and as a Finance PMO Intern at TIP Trailer Services. Additionally, participation in Roland Berger's International Case Day led to a second-place finish for Alexandru's team. Academically, Alexandru holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from the University of Amsterdam - Amsterdam Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business from the University of Amsterdam.
