Claire Baney has a diverse work experience in various industries. Claire is currently working at Orr Fellowship as the Chief of Staff, where they play a key role in the organization's management. As an Orr Fellow, they also provide consulting assistance to Indianapolis-based non-profits.

Before joining Orr Fellowship, Claire worked at Folia in an operations role. Prior to that, they were a Undergraduate Student Researcher at Purdue University, where they conducted independent research on expanding access to healthy food in disadvantaged communities, and also worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant.

Claire has also gained experience as a Creative Strategy Intern at Remedy Farm, where they were responsible for driving communication strategies and managing marketing and product development. Additionally, Claire worked as a Field Atlas Program Intern at AgriNovus Indiana, where they supported the development and marketing of a digital agbioscience career exploration tool.

Earlier in their career, Claire served as a Communications Intern at Hoosier Ag Today, where they crafted news stories, coordinated interviews, and created radio news reports. Claire also held the position of Indiana FFA State President at the National FFA Organization, where they developed and facilitated leadership development conferences, delivered keynote addresses, and promoted agriculture and agricultural education.

Claire Baney pursued their education at Purdue University from 2018 to 2022. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a dual focus in Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Communication. In September 2021, Claire Baney also obtained a certification in Human Research - Social Behavioral Research Investigators and Key Personnel from the CITI Program.
