Pathology Lab Lead/senior Microbiologist at Food Safety Net Services

Kelsey Jones has extensive work experience in various roles. From 2017 to the present, they have worked at Food Safety Net Services, starting as a Pathology Lab Analyst and progressing to become a Pathology Lab Lead/Senior Microbiologist. In this role, they manage operations, communicates test deviations, and coordinates resources to meet deadlines. Kelsey also worked as a Microbiologist, where they analyzed and communicated test results, performed internal audits, and ensured safety and quality through testing. Before joining Food Safety Net Services, they worked at Brown County & ASPRIO as a Respite Care provider from 2014 to 2019. Additionally, they worked at Village of Ashwaubenon as a Special Needs Children's Aide from 2015 to 2017, providing support to students with disabilities. Kelsey also has experience as a Cashier/Sandwich Maker at Erbert & Gerbert's Sandwich Shops in 2016. Kelsey started their career with a Preceptorship at Prevea Clinic & St. Vincent Hospital in 2014 and worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2013, where they assisted with studying the cognitive and communicative abilities of African Grey parrots. Kelsey also has experience as a Member of DECA Inc. from 2009 to 2012.

Kelsey Jones attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point from 2012 to 2017 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General. In addition to their degree, they also earned certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Red Cross in January 2016 and in the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) from Pearson VUE in September 2015.
