Paloma Gioia

Paloma Gioia is an experienced sports therapist and healthcare professional currently serving as the Head of Medical at Connah's Quay Nomads FC since June 2020, overseeing the medical department. With roles such as First Team Head Therapist and Youth Team Sports Therapist, Paloma has a strong background in injury assessment, management, and rehabilitation for both youth and senior teams. Additional experience includes serving as a Sports Therapist for the Football Association of Wales, a Physiotherapy Technical Instructor with NHS Wales, and Head Sports Therapist for the U15 Girls International Team. Paloma has also worked with several football clubs including Airbus and Chester FC. Paloma holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Therapy from Edge Hill University and is currently pursuing an MSc in Physiotherapy at Bangor University, alongside a Football Doctor Education Program from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
