Scott Welsh

Scott Welsh has a diverse background in the audiovisual and technology industry, with extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Scott is currently working as a Senior Director of Solutions Engineering at For The Record (FTR) since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the AV Operations Manager at VectorUSA from September 2017 to February 2023. Before that, Scott worked as a Senior Solutions Architect at Christie Digital Systems from June 2015 to September 2017. Scott also worked as a Senior Audiovisual Consultant at PlanNet from June 2013 to June 2015.

Scott has experience as a business owner, having owned AV In-Source from March 2006 to June 2013. Scott served as the Technical Services Manager at Spinitar from an unknown start date to 2006. Additionally, Scott worked as a Project Manager at Hoffman Video Systems and as a Senior Technician at Televideo San Diego in the late 90s. Scott began their career in the US Navy as an Interior Communications Electrician, IC2, from March 1986 to March 1990.

From 1990 to 1995, Scott Welsh pursued their education at San Diego Mesa College, where they made significant progress towards obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Science. Their field of study focused on Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.
