Robert Cortez

Robert Cortez has a strong background in the banking and financial industry, with over 19 years of experience. Robert started their career in 2003 as a Mortgage Loan Officer at The Washington Savings Bank, and then moved on to EagleBank in 2004, where they continued to work as a Mortgage Loan Officer until 2011. During this time, they gained valuable experience in mortgage lending. In 2011, they joined Monument Bank as a Senior Mortgage Consultant, where they worked until 2012 before transitioning to a new role at Forbright Bank. At Forbright Bank, Robert held various positions, including Senior Loan Officer, Credit Analyst, AVP, Portfolio Manager, and currently serving as Vice President, Portfolio Manager since 2023. Their expertise in portfolio management and credit analysis makes him a valuable asset to the bank.
