Sherif Nahas serves as the Board Chair of Bideawee, Inc., one of America's oldest no-kill animal welfare organizations, since September 2022. Nahas has been the Director of Private Equity & Real Assets at the Ford Foundation since July 2009 and is a Council Member for the Council on Global Competition and Innovation, which aims to enhance GCI investments at scale. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Private Equity & Real Assets at the University of Virginia Investment Management Company, Principal at Sand Hill Capital, positions in Corporate Banking at BankBoston, and roles at Ford Motor Company as a Design Engineer/Product Strategy Analyst. Nahas holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia.
