Mikkel Bollinger

Mikkel Bollinger has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Mikkel currently works at Forecast as a Senior Engineering Manager for data science, where they lead teams in implementing AI features and agile development processes. Prior to that, Mikkel worked at Edlund A/S as a Senior Manager, leading technological innovation teams and playing a key role in a Norwegian tender. Mikkel also worked as an R&D development manager, overseeing the development of state-of-the-art solutions. Before Edlund A/S, Mikkel was a Project Manager and System Developer at Edlund A/S and a Software Development Manager at Atomistix A/S. Mikkel gained experience in financial software development as a Senior Financial Consultant at SimCorp A/S. Additionally, Mikkel worked as an External Examiner at the Technical University of Denmark and as an Assistant Research Professor at the same institution. Mikkel began their career as a Summer Student at CERN.

Mikkel Bollinger completed an executive management programme at Harvard Business School in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a PhD in Computational Quantum Physics from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. Mikkel also holds a M.Sc.Eng. in Applied Physics from the same institution, which they earned from 1993 to 1999. Mikkel briefly attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as an exchange student in 1998, focusing on Physics. Additionally, they participated in a summer school program at CERN in 1996, although the specific field of study is unknown.
