Paul Brotzen

Paul Brotzen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in security cooperation and defense. Currently serving as a Security Cooperation Specialist at Forge Group, LLC since February 2023, Brotzen previously held notable positions, including Assistant General Agent at Knights of Columbus Insurance from February 2017 to July 2022, and Defense Attaché for the United States Department of Defense from July 2010 to August 2015 in Vienna and Belgrade. Prior roles also include Deputy Director for the Civilian Police Advisory/Training Team in the US Army, Political-Military Officer at the U.S. Department of State, and various positions within the Department of Defense and U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff. Brotzen holds advanced degrees in International Relations and National Security Studies from Columbia University, an Associate’s degree in German Language and Literature from the Defense Language Institute, a Bachelor's degree in European History from Virginia Military Institute, and a Financial Services Certified Professional credential from The American College of Financial Services.
