About the team: 

The Enterprise Business Development Representative team at Forma.ai works alongside the Marketing and Sales teams to develop growth opportunities by connecting with potential customers.  

You will work to fully qualify and understand the needs and unique compensation plans of our enterprise prospects. From there, nurture and develop relationships with customers from first point of contact to closing a deal while sharing with unparalleled knowledge of Forma.ai’s platform so customers see our value. 

What you'll be doing:  

The Enterprise Business Development Representative will prospect high-value sales opportunities. You’ll use your communication skills to navigate large, complex organizations and listen while synthesizing a prospect’s needs and tying the value of Forma.ai’s solution.  

As an Enterprise Business Development Representative, you’ll be contributing to the following areas: 

  • Be a strategic member of the sales team, responsible for identifying and ultimately creating qualified sales opportunities. 
  • Develop a strategy and refine along the way, to successfully break into prospect accounts by sourcing net new sales opportunities. 
  • Responsible for building a sales pipeline and generating revenue.
  • Increase pipeline through active demand generation and targeted campaigns by leveraging multiple social channels (i.e. LinkedIn, Twitter, events etc.) to start conversations and develop relationships with potential clients.
  • Active prospecting, nurturing, and pipelining using tools like Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hootsuite, Gong, etc.
  • Writing, crafting, and honing engaging attention-grabbing emails, proposals, letters and voice messages.
  • Prospecting targeted leads and developing new sales campaigns.
  • Educating, qualifying, and nurturing leads to create sales-ready opportunities.
  • Help transition leads through deal stages, providing support as needed. 
  • Opportunity to earn up to $100K OTE.

What we're looking for: 

  • 1+ years of experience in pre-sales, sales, or cold-calling at a SaaS or Enterprise Software company. 
  • Track record of success in attaining or exceeding fiscal sales quotas. 
  • Able to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic environment. 
  • Strong business acumen, written and verbal skills, as well as someone who is resourceful, self-starter, and is a quick learner. 
  • Manage multiple customer calls and presentations daily and build relationships with clients over the phone and email. 
  • Collaboration, where you naturally share ideas and never lose sight of being part of the team. 
  • An ability to develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Forma.ai products and services, relevant industry trends, and competition. 
  • Ability to excel under pressure. 
  • Passion for technology, marketing and sales with experience in a customer-facing role. 

Nice to Haves: 

  • Background in Market Research  
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Sales or a similar discipline
