Oshmita Sarkar

Oshmita Sarkar has a diverse portfolio of work experience in the fields of data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. In 2021, they worked as a Contributor at Kaggle, while in 2022, they participated in a winter nanodegree programme of AI programming in python as an AWS ML Scholar at Udacity. Oshmita also had internships as a Data Science Intern at FlixDrop CHMS and PlotMyData, where they worked on various deep learning frameworks and chatbot development using LSTM. Oshmita also interned as a Machine Learning Intern at Newron in late 2022. In addition, they were a Member of the IoT Lab at KiiT and a Research Intern in the Complex Systems Laboratory of IIIT-Delhi, where they focused on computational gastronomy. Finally, Oshmita was a Delegate at the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations in February 2023 and later an AI Fellow at Metapix, where they worked on artificial intelligence projects. Currently, Oshmita has an ongoing role at Forma.ai as an Analytics Engineer.

Oshmita Sarkar completed their Class 10 CBSE Examination from Central Model School, Barrackpore in 2018. Oshmita then pursued Class 12 CBSE Examinations in Biology/Biological Sciences, General and Mathematics from Army Public School Barrackpore in 2020. Oshmita is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar from 2020 to 2024. In addition to their formal education, Oshmita has completed several certification programs, including a Data science Internship Programme from 1Stop.ai, a machine learning course from Cisco thingQbator - IIT (BHU), and a Practical Machine Learning using R course on Coursera.
