Julio Barriga

Julio Barriga has a diverse work experience that spans from 2017 to the present. In 2017, they co-founded Prothesia and remained in that role until 2020. In 2021, they worked as a 3D Technician at Fast Radius, Inc., where they set up 3D printers and conducted secondary processing tasks. Julio then moved on to be an Automation Technician at Flex from August to December 2021. In 2022, Julio joined CVS Health as a Software Engineer, where they developed, maintained, and updated features for a web application. Julio also worked at Interapt as a Software Engineer, completing a comprehensive apprenticeship program. Currently, Julio is a Front End Engineering Fellow at Formation, where they are completing intensive training to master React and theoretical CS topics.

Julio Barriga completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey between the years 2015 and 2020. In 2021 and 2022, they attended General Assembly to pursue a Software Engineering Immersive with Java program. Additionally, Julio obtained several certifications including "Intro to Digital Manufacturing with Autodesk Fusion 360" from Coursera in September 2020, "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)" from Coursera in October 2017, and "Certified Associate - Mechanical Design (CSWA)" from Dassault Systèmes in May 2017.
