Jose Mercado

Jose Mercado has over 20 years of work experience in sales and account management roles. Jose started their career in 1994 as a Sales Representative at MA Hanna Color, where they worked for four years. In 1998, they joined Tech Group Puerto Rico as an Account Manager and worked there for two years. In 2000, they joined Formerra as a Senior Account Manager and is currently responsible for sales, prospecting, and expanding the customer base in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica territories. Their focus is on account development for key customers in various industries such as healthcare, automotive, electrical, communications, consumer, power motors, and packaging markets.

Jose Mercado completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón between 1994 and 1997. Additionally, they obtained a certification titled "Managing Your Career as an Introvert" from LinkedIn in April 2021. Jose has also completed a Lean Six Sigma - Yellow Belt certification, but the institution and specific dates of attainment are unknown.
