Daniel Kats

Daniel Kats has a strong work history in the field of safety and risk management. Daniel is currently serving as the Director of Corporate Safety & PSM at Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. since May 2021. Before that, from September 2018 to April 2021, they worked as an EHS Manager at CF Industries. Prior to that, they held the position of HSSE Manager at Cheniere Energy, Inc. from August 2015 to June 2018 and at BP from August 2007 to August 2015. Daniel also has experience as a Manager of Process Safety and Risk Management at Elf Atochem/Atofina/Arkema from August 1995 to August 2007. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Materials Engineer/Inspection Supervisor at Mobil Oil from August 1990 to August 1995. Daniel began their professional journey as a Metallurgical Engineer at Walter Rossler Co. from January 1989 to August 1990.

Daniel Kats obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso between the years 1982 and 1988.
