Thor Besier

Thor Besier is currently a Professor at The University of Auckland. Prior to their current position, Thor held roles as Associate Professor and Senior Research Fellow at the same institution. Thor has also worked as an Assistant Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at both Stanford University and The University of Western Australia. Besier holds a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Stanford University, a PhD in Biomechanics from The University of Western Australia, and a Bachelor of Physical Education (hons) from the University of Otago.
