Thomas Rikardsen

Thomas Rikardsen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Thomas began their career at Ementor as a Helpdesk member from July 2006 to November 2006. Thomas then transitioned to ErgoGroup (now Evry) and worked as 1st and 2nd line support from November 2006 to February 2007. At ErgoGroup, they also served as a Lab Manager, responsible for installing computers and handling data recovery from February 2007 to August 2007.

Following their time at ErgoGroup, Thomas joined Confirmit in August 2007 as a Technical Consultant. Thomas'sresponsibilities included server management, technical consulting, and providing support for internal and external sites until August 2010. Thomas then advanced to the role of Senior Technical Coordinator from August 2010 to February 2011 and further progressed to become a SaaS Operations Manager from February 2011 to March 2015. During their tenure, they played a significant role in SaaS strategy planning, budgeting, personnel management, and executing PowerShell scripting.

In March 2015, Thomas moved to the role of Director SaaS Operations at Confirmit. This position involved overseeing the company's five SaaS sites, managing a dedicated account team, negotiating contracts and costs with providers, and handling support ticket escalations. Thomas actively participated in software development and feature planning meetings, developed a global Continuous Deployment strategy, and collaborated with Microsoft to rebuild applications for Azure compatibility. Thomas also focused on deploying Confirmit's solutions on Kubernetes. Thomas continued in this role until April 2021.

Recently, Thomas joined Forsta as the VP Technology - Cloud Operations in April 2021.

Thomas Rikardsen completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST) from 2002 to 2005.
