Kim Mathiassen

Kim Mathiassen currently serves as a Research Manager and Senior Researcher at Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt (FFI) since October 2015 and has held the position of Associate Professor at the University of Oslo since January 2017. Previous roles include Researcher at Oslo University Hospital from March to August 2015, as well as a PhD Fellow at the University of Oslo from August 2010 to August 2015. Early career experience includes a tenure as a Sergeant with the Norwegian Armed Forces from June 2004 to July 2005. Kim Mathiassen holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Robotics from the University of Oslo and a Master of Science (MS) in Cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), in addition to education at Gjøvik University College and Officer Candidate School.
