Marc Geilhufe

Marc Geilhufe is a Senior Scientist at Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt - FFI since May 2013, with prior experience as a Scientist. In early 2020, Marc worked as a Visiting Scientist at the Naval Postgraduate School and has also contributed as a Visiting Researcher at the Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation. Marc's academic journey includes a Research Fellow/PhD student role at the University of Tromsø from 2008 to 2013, focusing on statistical analysis of lattice data and infectious disease modeling. Additional experience includes a Visiting Intern position at the University of Washington, a Diplomate role at SAP, and internships at the Norwegian Centre for Telemedicine, Deutsche Vermögensberatung AG, and Watson Wyatt. Marc holds a PhD in Statistics from UiT - The Arctic University of Norway and a Diploma in Business Mathematics from Technische Universität Chemnitz.
