Michael R. Crone

Michael R. Crone's work experience includes serving as the Chief of Surgery at Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Medical Director and Chief of Urology at MAVERICK COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT starting in November 2020 and January 2016, respectively. From 2018 to 2018, they served as the Chief of Surgery at Fort Duncan Medical Center. Before that, they held various roles at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, including Associate Professor, Attending Urologist, and Assistant Professor from 2009 to 2015. Michael R. also worked as a Staff Urologist in the United States Air Force from 2004 to 2008. Furthermore, they gained experience as a Urology Resident and completed a General Surgery Internship at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine from 1999 to 2004.

Michael R. Crone earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Baylor University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Subsequently, they pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, completing their studies between 1994 and 1999. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the "Learning Bitcoin and Other Cryptocurrencies" certification from LinkedIn in June 2018. Moreover, in February 2010, they obtained the "American Board of Urology" certification from the American Board of Urology.
