Dovie Mitchell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They began their career in the US Army as an Air Traffic Controller from September 1999 to August 2001. Following their military service, Dovie worked as an IT Support Specialist at Robert Half Technology from 2006 to 2008. In 2011, they joined DataSource Mobility as a Senior Account Manager. From 2012 to 2015, Dovie pursued their passion for photography and worked as a Photographer at Dovie Pearson Photography. In 2013, they transitioned to Agero, Inc., where they held various roles, including Operations Supervisor, Associate Project Manager, and Command Center Supervisor. In 2019, Dovie joined Fortera Credit Union as a Contact Center Manager and later transitioned to the role of Director, Contact Center Operations in November 2020.

Dovie Mitchell pursued higher education at Austin Peay State University from 2010 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Management. They later enrolled at Western Governors University in 2019 and completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Management in 2020.
