Deidre Willmott

Deidre Willmott currently serves as a Strategic Advisor for Global Sustainability & External Affairs at Fortescue since April 2024. With a robust background in leadership roles, Willmott has been the Deputy Chair and a Board Member of the Perth USAsia Centre, contributing to geo-political thought leadership since 2014. Other significant positions include Chair of the Scholarships Committee and Board Member at Chief Executive Women, and member of the Melbourne School of Government Advisory Board at the University of Melbourne. Willmott was previously the CEO of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia and held various roles at Australia Post, including Chair of the People Committee. Academic qualifications include a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne and completion of an Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD, among other prestigious credentials.
