Benjamin Scudera

Benjamin Scudera has worked in the IT industry since 2013. Benjamin began as a Systems Technician at Oasis Systems, where they were responsible for supporting the testing and development of next-generation Ground/Air Radar. In 2015, they moved to Veris Group, LLC (now Coalfire Systems), where they worked as an Information Security Consultant, performing network, host, database, and web scans. In 2017, they became the Director of Solutions Engineering at Coalfire, where they were responsible for cyber security assessments and consulting. In 2020, they joined Veritone, Inc. as the Director of Compliance. Currently, they are the Director at Fortreum.

Benjamin Scudera obtained their Master's Degree in Information Technology from Virginia Tech in 2019. Benjamin previously obtained their Bachelor's degree in Criminology from George Mason University in 2012. Before that, they attended Oakton High School. In addition, they have obtained numerous certifications, such as the AWS Security Specialty from Amazon Web Services in 2018, the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional from Amazon Web Services in 2017, and the Certified Authorization Professional from (ISC)² in 2016.
