Scott Barnes

Scott Barnes has over 20 years of experience in information security and IT management. Their most recent role was as the Director of Enterprise Cyber Security at Fortune Brands Home & Security. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Global Information Security at Tenneco, where they developed and implemented an information security program to protect the company from cyber threats. Scott also held various roles at Cummins Inc., including Senior Manager of Global Information Security, IT Audit and Compliance Manager, Manufacturing IT Site Leader, and Manager of Operations and Architecture. Throughout their career, Scott has demonstrated expertise in incident response, identity and access management, PCI compliance, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, and IT architecture design.

Scott Barnes holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Applied Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, obtained in 2012. Scott also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration from the same university, obtained in 2002. In addition, Scott has a Master's Certificate in Information Technology Project Management from The George Washington University School of Business, obtained in 2001. Scott also holds several certifications including CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), and GSTRT (GIAC Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership) obtained in 2019 through various institutions.
