Elie Levasseur

Elie Levasseur has a diverse work experience in the creative and film industry. Elie began their career as an International Relations Assistant at Sunny Side of the Doc/Docservices in 2005. Elie then worked as a Marketing and Business Development professional at Massaï/Yumentree Production from 2005 to 2007. In 2008, they served as a General Coordination Assistant at Sunny Side of the Doc.

From 2009 to 2012, Elie worked as a Business Development professional at eYeka, where they collaborated with leading brands on consumer engagement marketing campaigns. In 2013, they joined Cross Video Days as the Head of Programming, taking responsibility for the piloting and growth of the organization's Content Market. Elie successfully sourced innovative projects from various countries and arranged business meetings between financiers and producers.

In 2016, Elie became the CEO of 1-TO-1 MAKER LIMITED, demonstrating their leadership skills. Elie then joined Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes as the XR Program Leader in 2018, contributing to the development of the XR industry within the organization.

Elie continued their journey in the XR field by accepting the role of Head of NewImages XR Market at Forum des Images in 2018. Currently, in 2022, they hold the position of Head of XR at Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes, further expanding their expertise in the XR realm.

Elie Levasseur's education history begins with a degree in Cultural Project Management from Aix-Marseille University, which was completed prior to 2002. Following this, Levasseur pursued a Master's degree in the Strategy of International Relations and Cultural Exchanges at Sciences Po Lyon - Institut d'Etudes Politiques, which was completed between 2002 and 2003. Later on, Levasseur attended ISC Paris from 2008 to 2009, undertaking an MBA majoring in "E-Marketing and new technologies" within the field of Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
