Rong Yang

Rong Yang has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Rong currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Fosun Pharma USA Inc. since January 2022. Prior to this, Rong held various leadership roles at Bayer Pharmaceuticals from 2012 to 2021, including Vice President of Sales, Specialty, Vice President Hematology Marketing, VP Business Insight, Data & Analytics, VP Finance Business Partner and Strategy Americas, Board Member, and Country Cluster Head for Czech and Slovakia. Rong also served as the Assistant to the Chairman of the Board at Bayer Pharmaceuticals from 2012 to 2013. Before joining Bayer, Rong worked at Bayer Austria GmbH as the Head of Marketing and Sales for Neurology/Pulmonary, where they managed major on-market brands and coordinated clinical trials. Rong also worked at Bayer Schering Pharma AG as the Global Marketing-Market Development Manager, and as a Marketing/Product Management Associate at Bayer AG. Additionally, Rong gained experience as a Summer Associate at McKinsey & Company.

Rong Yang completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in German and Economics from Beijing Foreign Studies University between 1996 and 1999. Rong then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School from 2006 to 2008.
