Sarah C. currently serves as the Head of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning at the Foundation for a Just Society since April 2022. Prior experience includes a decade at Open Society Foundations, where Sarah held multiple roles, including Learning and Policy Officer, Senior Program Specialist & Special Assistant, and Program Associate for the International Women's Program, focusing on strategic planning, grantmaking, and organizational development. Additional experience comprises program assistant roles at Columbia University's Harriman Institute and Global Health Research Center of Central Asia, as well as conducting research for HealthRight International on women's prison systems in Russia. Sarah's early career includes contributions to UN Women publications. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Russian, Central European, East European, and Eurasian Studies from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
