Alison Drakeford

Alison Drakeford is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as Senior Director of Internal Communications at Foundation Medicine since September 2019. In this role, Alison manages a high-performing communications team, develops impactful communication strategies, and serves as a strategic partner to senior leadership, including the CEO and Chief People Officer. Previous experience includes roles at Bose Corporation, where Alison developed communication strategies for the Professional Systems Division, and Liberty Mutual Insurance, where they led a successful employee giving campaign. Alison's earlier roles encompass diverse communications responsibilities at Shriners Hospitals for Children and Catholic Charities. Alison holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Design and Corporate Communications from Bentley University and a Master’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Suffolk University.
