Jequetta Sutton

Jequetta Sutton has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Jequetta started their career in 2007 as a Specimen Processing Technician II at Solstas Lab Partners, where they processed bodily fluids, blood, and urine samples. Jequetta provided customer service to physicians, nurses, and hospital liaison, and communicated with clients regarding test results. In 2015, they joined MOSES CONE HEALTH SYSTEM as a Phlebotomist and performed blood draws on different age groups in a major hospital setting. Jequetta then worked at WakeMed as a Phlebotomist in 2017, where they provided patient attention and comfort during illness. Currently, they are working at Foundation Medicine as a Data Verification Steward Lead, a role they took on in October 2021. Prior to this role, they were an Accessioning Technician III at the same company.

Jequetta Sutton completed their Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Art/Art Studies, General at Guilford Technical Community College from 2020 to 2025. Prior to that, they obtained a diploma in medical assisting and office technology from Brookstone College Greensboro from 2005 to 2007. Jequetta'shigh school education was completed at Ben L Smith High School, where they obtained a diploma from 1990 to 1993. Jequetta also holds certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt and Writing a Business Case from other institutions. Jequetta obtained their Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) in 2015, and their RMA certification from the American Medical Technologists in 2014.
