Simon Kvilhaug

Simon Kvilhaug has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Simon is currently working as the Head of Customer Excellence at FounderNest, where they are involved in stealth mode operations to augment the scouting power of innovative corporations using AI. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Operations and Client Success at Decimal, a startup focused on solving accounting operations for startups and small businesses. In this role, they oversaw implementation, client delivery, and support teams.

Simon also has experience at PSG Global Solutions, where they held the position of Director of Client Services. Here, they led the launch of a new full cycle RPO division, taking responsibility for multi-million dollar client accounts and managing both onshore and offshore teams.

Before joining PSG Global Solutions, Simon worked at KPA, where they held various roles. Simon began as a Project Manager, overseeing a wide range of projects aimed at driving growth and retaining key accounts. Simon later became the Manager of the Client Engagement Center, establishing and leading KPA's first team of Enterprise Client Success professionals. Finally, they served as the Associate Director of Client Success, responsible for managing SMB-focused Client Success Managers and an Enterprise Client Success team.

Simon's early career included a role as a Safety Manager at Bridgewell, where they focused on improving loss control and compliance throughout the organization. Simon also served in the United States Marine Corps as a Section Leader for Utilities Engineering, where they oversaw electrical, mechanical, and HVAC operations and held additional roles in hazardous materials and chemical biological radiological & nuclear decontamination.

Simon Kvilhaug attended the Massachusetts Maritime Academy from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Emergency Management and Homeland Security. In addition to their degree, Simon has acquired various certifications, including Active Shooter- IS 907, Advanced ICS for Command and General Staff- ICS 400, Barnstable County Fire and Rescue Academy Course, Continuity of Operations (COOP) Manager-IS 548, Continuous Process Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints)-Yellow Belt, Critical Infrastructure Support Annex-IS 821, EMT-Basic Course, First Aid/CPR/AED, Incident Command System-IS 100, Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents for Operational First Responders- ICS 300, National Incident Management System-IS 700, National Response Framework-IS 800, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) 40 HAZWOPER, Security Clearance- Secret (Eligible), Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents-IS 200, Transportation Workers Identification Credentials (TWIC), and United States Coast Guard Basic Safety Training Course.
