Head of Customer Success at Zengines

Kevin Coffin, CIPM, has over 29 years of experience in the finance and investment industry. Kevin began their career in 1992 as a Portfolio Accountant/Project Lead at Trust Company of the West, where they played key lead roles in a fast rising progression. Kevin'slast role was the project management over the integration of an acquired insurance asset management company, including accountability for over a six resource conversion team responsible for the NAIC insurance statutory reporting, using Princeton Financial Systems (PFS) PAM investment accounting system, of $5 billion in assets.

In 1995, Kevin moved to Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a Regional Accounting Supervisor for the Inland Empire of Southern California, where they supervised and trained four accounting coordinators. Kevin also developed an enhanced process for tracking and writing off bad debt across all offices, including insurance processing and fleet sales.

From 1996 to 2001, Kevin was the Manager, Investment Support at Western Asset Management, where they were responsible for the accounting, valuation and AIMR (replaced by GIPS standards) compliant performance composites for $125 billion (representing 325 portfolios) in global fixed income assets under management. Kevin directly managed 40 investment support staff professionals, including five supervisors, one internal auditor and two Certified Public Accountants using the Princeton Financial Systems (PFS) PAM investment accounting system.

From 2001 to 2017, Kevin was the Managing Director of InvestTech Systems Consulting, LLC. Kevin'sroles included business development, marketing, strategic planning and large scale project management, specializing in strategic architectural reviews, system evaluations, implementations and workflow designs. Kevin was also the Eagle Investment Accounting Practice Manager with InvestTech and lead engagement manager and project manager for multiple large scale (total of $200 billion) Eagle Investment Systems STAR, PACE and Performance systems implementations over the past 14 years, including over a dozen integration projects covering GAAP, US Tax, IFRS and NAIC insurance regulated organization. Kevin was responsible for the implementation of GIPS compliant composites on Eagle Performance, including all presentation standard calculations, disclosure, period reporting and risk measures.

From 2017 to 2020, Kevin was the Principal Director at Accenture. In 2021, they moved to Meradia as the Advising Director and then to Zengines as the Head of Customer Success.

Kevin Coffin, CIPM holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University, College of Business Administration, which they obtained in 1991. Kevin then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration in Executive Management from the University of La Verne in 2005. In 2009, they obtained a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) from the CIPM Association, affiliated with the CFA Institute. More recently, in 2020, they obtained a Learning MongoDB certification from LinkedIn.
