Michael VanSickle

Michael VanSickle has been working in the IT field since 2005. Michael began their career as the Director of Information Technology at Arc of Yates, where they provided critical insight and input into the strategic direction of the Agency's use of information technology and maintained awareness of changing trends and regulations. In 2016, they became the IT Administrator at Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack, responsible for the management and maintenance of IT systems for the Casino, Racetrack and Business Office. In 2020, they moved to Greenidge Generation LLC as the Lead Device Engineer, responsible for the daily uptime of a 1 EH/s Bitcoin mining farm. In 2021, they joined Foundry, a Digital Currency Group Company, as the Lead Data Center Engineer. At Foundry, they provide North American miners and manufacturers with the resources to build, maintain, and secure decentralized networks. Michael also works as an Independent Consultant.

Michael VanSickle has an educational background in Computer Science from Finger Lakes Community College. Michael also holds a VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization certification from VMware, which they obtained in July 2012.
