Yannik Bendel

Yannik Bendel is a Senior Policy Advisor at Fraktion Bündnis 90/Die Grünen im Deutschen Bundestag, currently serving as an advisor to the Finance Committee with a focus on financial crime, anti-money-laundering, tax fraud, and financial consumer protection since October 2022. Prior to this role, Yannik worked as a Policy Advisor and later as Chief of Staff to Lisa Paus MP from March 2017 to November 2021, contributing expertise in financial market regulation and overseeing the Wirecard investigation. Yannik's experience also includes serving as an EU Policy Officer at Transparency International, working as a trainee in public sector advisory at PwC, and various internships in the public sector. Yannik holds a Master of Philosophy in International Administration and Global Governance from the University of Gothenburg, along with bachelor's degrees in Economics and Philosophy from Københavns Universitet and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Economics from the University of Bayreuth.
