Mario Leberig serves as Vice President of Engineering at Framatome since January 2005, leading the global engineering organization of the Fuel business unit, which consists of over 500 engineers across multiple locations in France, the US, and Germany. With extensive experience in various engineering and management roles within Framatome, responsibilities have included overseeing product lines, managing global engineering units, and driving R&D portfolios. Prior to Framatome, Mario Leberig worked at CERN, where responsibilities encompassed managing projects in particle detection and collaborating with an international team of scientists on the COMPASS experiment. Mario Leberig holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear, Particle and Detector Physics from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and has completed leadership programs at Harvard Business School and London Business School.
