Julia Rickles

Julia Rickles has extensive work experience in the field of product design and graphic design. Julia currently works as a Senior Product Designer at Frame.io since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Product Design Lead at Mapbox from October 2019 to January 2022. Julia also has experience working at Fitbit, where they held the positions of Senior Product Designer from March 2019 to October 2019, and Product Designer from August 2017 to March 2019. Before their time at Fitbit, Julia worked at Apple as a User Experience Designer from August 2015 to July 2017. Julia started their career as a Graduate Assistant at Indiana University from August 2013 to May 2015. Julia also gained valuable experience as a Product Design Intern at Spotify in June 2014. Their earlier roles include being a Graphic Design Intern at Studio Science until August 2013, and working as a Graphic Designer and Photography Assistant at Blueline Style and Media Productions from May 2010 to November 2012. Throughout their career, Julia has demonstrated a focus on delivering strategic design solutions and continuously learning from their colleagues.

Julia Rickles began their education at Indiana University Bloomington in 2008, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design. Julia successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2012. After a brief period, Julia returned to Indiana University Bloomington in 2013 to further their education. Julia embarked on a Master of Science (MS) program in Human Computer Interaction Design and concluded their studies in 2015.
