Ajay Argal

Ajay Argal is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in fund management and equity investments. Currently a Senior Fund Manager at Franklin Templeton India since October 2021, Ajay previously served as Head of Indian Equities at Baring Asset Management, managing the India Fund and advising on Indian investments from September 2011 to March 2019. Ajay's career includes significant roles at Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company Limited, where responsibilities ranged from managing offshore equity funds to co-heading the investment team. Ajay also held the position of Head of Offshore Funds at UTI Asset Management Company Limited for over a decade. Ajay holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a Bachelor of Technology in Aeronautical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
