Arun Gupta

Arun Gupta has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Arun is currently the Head of Credit at Franklin Templeton Investments since 2018. Prior to this, they worked at KKR & Co. Inc. as the Principal, Global Risk Strategies from 2014 to 2018, and as a Vice President from 2013 to 2014. Arun also served as a Senior Manager at CRISIL from 2009 to 2013, specializing in corporate and infrastructure ratings. Before CRISIL, they worked at CRISIL Limited as a Senior Manager and Manager in structured finance ratings from 2003 to 2009. Arun began their career as a Senior Officer at ICICI Bank in 2002 and previously worked as a Management Trainee at Ambuja Cements Eastern Limited in 2001.

Arun Gupta completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree at St. Xavier's College from 1997 to 1999. Arun then pursued Chartered Accountancy at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 1997 to 2001, focusing on Finance, Tax, Law, and Accounting.
