Tyler Porterfield

Tyler Porterfield, CIMA, is a seasoned financial services professional with extensive experience in wealth management and investment platforms. Currently serving as SVP, Head of Private Wealth Platforms at Franklin Templeton since August 2020, Tyler's team facilitates investment and operational due diligence for Specialist Investment Managers. Prior to this role, Tyler held various leadership positions at Legg Mason from 2009 to August 2020, including Director, Head of Platform Relations, and Director of Strategic Accounts, where collaboration with wealth management accounts and representation of capital markets insights were key responsibilities. Tyler's earlier experience includes serving as Regional Vice President at Deutsche Asset Management from 2000 to 2009, managing relationships with RIAs and Family Offices. Tyler began a career in finance at LPL Financial, assisting with client relationships in 1999. Tyler holds a degree from The University of Kansas, earned between 1996 and 2000.
