Ricardo Montosa

Ricardo Montosa has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ricardo is currently employed as a Regional Sales Manager for FranklinWH Energy Storage Inc., where they focus on educating and supporting distributors and installers in Puerto Rico. Prior to this role, Ricardo worked as a Regional Sales Manager at Enernet Global, managing a budget of $350 million and achieving sales and awards of over $67 million in Puerto Rico. Additionally, they created a pipeline of $500 million+ in international projects. Before that, they were a Senior Sales Consultant at New Energy, where they developed a pipeline of $20 million in photovoltaic projects. Ricardo also served as the Business Development Director at Inempi S.A., originating over 160MW of photovoltaic opportunities and collaborating on the closure of 50MW of utility-scale projects. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Sales Director at Dynamic Solar Solutions and Caribbean Energy Distributor, where they played a key role in closing large projects and winning federal bids for military installations. Ricardo's experience also includes working as a Solar Sales Manager at Glenn International, Inc., overseeing the development of a new solar energy division and achieving $2 million in PV materials sales. Additionally, they have worked as a Staff Engineer at Flowserve Corporation and as an Undergraduate Researcher at NASA, where they focused on various research projects related to the environment and urban heat island effect.

Ricardo Montosa obtained their Bachelor's degree in Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez in 2005. Currently, they are attending Stanford University School of Engineering, pursuing a degree in the Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies Program, which is expected to be completed in 2023.
