James Brooks has a diverse work history, starting at GEICO in 2004 as a Sales Representative in a call center environment. James then moved on to American Fidelity as a Sales Representative, where they focused on insurance sales and service in specific territories. Brooks later worked at SuperAgent as an Account Executive, specializing in business-to-business sales and providing insurance solutions to small businesses.

In 2010, Brooks joined LISI as a Sales Representative, where they prospect new business, assist brokers with group health insurance sales, and problem solve underwriting issues. James then transitioned to Paychex and held multiple roles, including Mid-Market Services and Benefits and Payroll Integration. At Paychex, Brooks empowered C-level executives and HR Directors to focus on business growth through integrated solutions for payroll, HR, retirement, and insurance services.

Starting in 2017, Brooks worked as a Major Account District Manager at ADP, partnering with midsize businesses to find human capital solutions across various industries. Their experience with ADP provided insight and expertise in healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and retail.

Most recently, Brooks joined FranklinCovey in 2020 as a Strategic Lead Generation Specialist, working closely with marketing to drive event participation and support lead-generation strategies. James also created messaging and prospecting sequences to generate new business opportunities and researched the latest prospecting strategies.

Throughout their career, Brooks has demonstrated expertise in sales, relationship building, strategic initiatives, and engaging teams at different levels within organizations.

James Brooks completed their Bachelor's degree in Communication from San Diego State University between the years 2000 and 2004. James also obtained a certification as an NLP Practitioner in May 2020 from The Academy of Modern Applied Psychology.
