Amanda Winter

Amanda Winter, CPA, CA, is a Principal at the Accounting Standards Board (AcSB) since October 2019. Previously, Amanda served as Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis at Samuel, Son & Co. from July 2017 to October 2019 and held positions at Home Trust Company, advancing from Senior Manager to Manager in External Financial Reporting between May 2013 and July 2017. At EY, Amanda progressed from Staff Accountant to Senior Accountant in Audit from 2005 to 2012, ultimately becoming a Manager. With a strong expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards, Amanda has effectively managed client relationships and audit teams across various industries, including construction, technology, and manufacturing. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, earned in 2007.
