Megan MacPherson has extensive experience in the healthcare field. Megan currently works as the Regional Lead for Research and Knowledge Translation in Virtual Health at Fraser Health Authority since September 2022. Prior to this, they were the Lead Health Coach at Evolve Medical from October 2021 to October 2022, where they focused on empowering individuals with diabetes through coaching and knowledge translation. Megan also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia from September 2017 to August 2022, where they supervised students, conducted research, and published numerous manuscripts. Additionally, they served as a Diabetes Prevention Counsellor at Small Steps for Big Changes Diabetes Prevention Program from November 2017 to August 2021. Megan'sexperience showcases their expertise in research, knowledge translation, and diabetes prevention and self-management.

Megan MacPherson has a diverse education history. Megan completed their Bachelor of Arts in Honour's Psychology at The University of British Columbia from 2010 to 2014. Megan then pursued a Masters in Occupational Therapy at Queen's University from 2015 to 2017. Continuing their education, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Kinesiology, specializing in Health and Exercise Sciences, from The University of British Columbia from 2017 to 2022. Megan also holds the certification of Registered Occupational Therapist (BC) from The Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT), which they obtained in 2018.
