Curtis Cavallucci is an experienced game designer with a focus on level design and Unreal technology. Their most recent position was as the Lead Game Designer - Systems at Free Range Games since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Backstage Games LLC as a Game/Level Designer, where they were involved in combat mechanic implementation, reward system balancing, and level design. Curtis also has significant experience at Rockstar Games, where they served as a Lead Game Designer and Game Designer, contributing to the development of Red Dead Redemption 2 and assisting in player looting mechanics. In addition, Curtis has worked as a Level Designer at Supergenius Studio and LucasArts, where they gained experience in Unreal Engine and contributed to the design of test levels and combat encounters. Curtis studied at The Art Institute of Portland, focusing on the art and design aspect of games, especially level design.

Curtis Cavallucci attended West Linn High School from 2004 to 2008, during which they did not obtain a degree or declare a field of study. Following their high school education, Curtis enrolled at The Art Institutes in 2008 and completed their studies in 2011. Curtis attained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Game Art and Design during their time at The Art Institutes.
