WHAT IS FREEBEE? 

Freebee provides free, on-demand, electric transportation to communities throughout the state of Florida.  Rides are requested through the Ride Freebee mobile app, where drivers connect directly with passengers to facilitate pick-ups and drop-offs from within our designated service areas. Our fully-electric fleet of over 100 vehicles has expanded to include Tesla Model Ys in addition to our fully customizable low-speed open air GEM vehicles - making Freebee one of the fastest growing organizations in the state. 

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING: 

Freebee is looking for an experienced operations manager to oversee our on-demand transportation services in specific regions throughout Miami-Dade County! Candidates for the Regional Performance Manager role must be passionate leaders who are self-motivated, mission-driven, team-oriented and organized. The position will require oversight of Freebee operations within Coral Gables, West Miami, Florida International University, Waterford Business District and Jackson Hospital.

JOB DUTIES: 

  • Supervise members of a select pool of Driver Ambassadors, ensure the proper maintenance of vehicles, develop a healthy team dynamic and provide a safe work environment for your teams.

  • Train new hires and provide continuous training / guidance to current employees.

  • Conduct site visits frequently and coordinate ride-alongs accordingly for continuous training.

  • Evaluate and optimize employee performance while ensuring that Freebee safety and customer service standards are always upheld.

  • Educate staff on company policies regarding scheduling and help navigate personnel issues alongside the human resources dept.

  • Coordinate and assist with service calls for preventative maintenance alongside Freebee’s fleet management staff.

  • Restock supplies within each service area consistently i.e. spare tires, cleaning and disinfecting supplies, marketing materials.

  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to commute frequently to service areas listed above.

  • Willingness to learn and execute basic maintenance tasks related to electric vehicles.

  • 5+ years of experience in a managerial capacity. Hospitality and/or transportation background preferred.

  • Must display a basic understanding of tablet and smartphone technology. Should also be proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite software.

  • Strong organizational mindset and interpersonal abilities.

  • High school diploma or GED is required. College degree in office administration or relevant field is preferred

  • Weekend availability when necessary
