Joey Appelmann

Joey Appelmann is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Electrical Applications Engineer/RME at Freedom Forever since March 2021. Prior to this role, Joey worked as a Construction Supervisor at Sunrun from July 2019 to December 2020. Experience also includes positions at Tesla from April 2017 to July 2019 as a California Residential Electrician - Installation Supervisor and Crew Foreman, as well as serving as a Crew Foreman at SolarCity from July 2014 to April 2017. Joey holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sustainability Studies - Renewable Energy from Appalachian State University, earned between 2012 and 2014, and an Associate of Arts degree from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute, completed from 2010 to 2012.
