Ulf Hansson

Ulf Hansson has extensive work experience starting from 1990. Ulf most recently worked at Freemelt AB as the Vice President of Development, where they were responsible for the innovation and development of open-source electron beam additive manufacturing technology tailored for R&D purposes. Before that, they worked as a Sales Manager for Freemelt AB, where they played a key role in developing new innovative powders, materials, and processing algorithms for additive manufacturing.

Prior to their time at Freemelt AB, Ulf worked at Metrum Sweden AB as a Business Development Manager responsible for the Middle East region. Ulf also worked at 3D Metal Print Sweden as a Business Development professional.

Further back in their career, Ulf held the position of Area Sales Manager, Marketing and Sales, North America at Arcam AB, where they were responsible for sales and marketing of high-end metal 3D printers with a strategic focus on the aerospace and medical sectors.

Before that, Ulf worked at Saab AB as a Regional Sales Director, where they were responsible for marketing and sales of radar systems in the Middle East and Latin America regions. Ulf also held positions as Executive Sales & Marketing Manager Americas and Sales Director, Sales & Marketing Latin America & Southern Africa at Saab AB.

Ulf started their career at Ericsson, where they held various roles including Sales Director, Sales & Marketing, Manager: Software & Digital HW, Base Station Development, and Manager/Software developer.

Prior to Ericsson, Ulf worked at Punos Electronic AB as a Manager Sales & Marketing Labview.

Ulf Hansson obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University in Sweden, completing their education from 1985 to 1989.
